Anniversary weekend - the program
Thursday May 30, 2024
Family day
On this day, the Zeche Zollverein welcomes young and old to a family day and offers free entry to the Portal of Industrial Culture and the Ruhr Museum. Walk acts and promotions already get you in the mood for the ExtraSchicht.
Friday May 31st
Dance party in the Erich Brost Pavilion
The Route Industrial Culture anniversary is celebrated at lofty heights: on May 31st, the Ruhr Regional Association (RVR) is organizing a dance party in the Erich Brost Pavilion. With panoramic views of the Ruhr area.
Saturday June 1, 2024
extra shift
The ExtraSchicht, the night of industrial culture, has been putting the Ruhr metropolis in the spotlight since 2001. In this special year, the event covering the entire Ruhr area deviates from its traditional date in order to enrich the anniversary weekend on June 1st. A special anniversary program is planned at the Zeche Zollverein site, but the ExtraSchicht is primarily intended to encourage people to experience a variety of industrial culture highlights on this night.
