Discover the industrial heritage treasures in your neighborhood
Join us on extraordinary bus tours in our anniversary year
For 25 years, the route has offered exciting insights into the industrial history of the Ruhr area. But the cultural treasures nearby often remain undiscovered. We would like to change that with three bus tours this year. Join us in the Sauerland, Wuppertal and Krefeld. Or take a fourth bus tour to explore the Ruhr Geopark in Hagen. The length of the tours varies, but the price remains the same: you can join for just €25 per person. Please take care of your own food, but we will advise you of appropriate options during the tours.
On 29.06. First we go to Oberhausen to St. Antony-Hütte and then to the Luisenhütte in Balve-Wocklum.
On 05.07. it goes into the barrels: into the gasometers in Wuppertal and Oberhausen. [Note: The tour is fully booked.]
The 02.08. takes us to Krefeld to the historic sewage treatment plant and then to Duisburg's port district of Ruhrort.
On 27.07. we stay in the region and visit the city of Hagen with its Art Nouveau architecture and world-famous fossil site. [Note: The tour is fully booked.]
In addition, the Marl Chemical Park invites us to exclusive tours of the factory premises on July 12, August 09, September 27 and October 18. [Note: The tours are already fully booked.]
All these bus tours are here available.
Three hikes along anchor points, panoramas and settlements on the Industrial Heritage route are planned for September.
Stay tuned!
