Bus tour to Oberhausen and Kelmis/Belgium
On September 27th, we will be taking a bus tour to a neighboring region: from Oberhausen to Kelmis in Belgium!
Experience industrial culture not only in the Ruhr area, but also on the German-Belgian border and visit with us the Altenberg zinc factory in Oberhausen and the Vielle Montagne Museum in Kelmis, Belgium.
In Oberhausen, you'll enjoy a guided tour that will provide a fascinating insight into the ongoing construction work at the Altenberg zinc factory. After a lunch break in Aachen, we'll visit the Vieille Montagne Museum at the historic site of the former zinc company in Kelmis. There will also be time for independent exploration before returning to Essen.
