Dortmund Museum Night: The long night with a lot of industrial culture

On September 23rd, the city of Dortmund will celebrate the night of nights with the DEW21 Museum Night 2023: Numerous venues and museums are offering an extensive program until late into the night for this occasion. Two anchor points on the Industrial Culture Route are involved and have some highlights in the program:

LWL Museum Zollern colliery
For the 23rd DEW21 Museum Night, the LWL Museum Zeche Zollern is once again dedicating itself to British and Irish culture, which has had an extraordinary impact on the Ruhr area. Scots with and without bagpipes besiege the mine. There is whiskey and other delicacies from the island, and the Irish folk band “Rabies” also plays on stage.

There are also numerous guided tours of the machine hall, the “Cathedral of Industrial Culture” and tours of the “Castle of Work”, the historic model mine, until late in the evening.
