LIGHT DIALOGUES – New light art exhibition in Unna
The new exhibition “LIGHT DIALOGUES – Works from the SCHAUWERK Sindelfingen” im Center for International Light Art From June 13th, the exhibition showcases the creative and technical means artists use to employ light to create spaces, moods, and meanings. Light art installations from the... SCHAUWERK Sindelfingen, which enter into a completely new dialogue with the collection in Unna in the impressive cellars of the Linden Brewery.
In cooperation with the SCHAUWERK Sindelfingen, a dialogue is created between two institutions, two collections, and around 20 iconic works of art. Key historical works encounter contemporary positions and open up new perspectives on a medium that combines technical precision and sensory experience.
The exhibition focuses on three themes: form, color, and symbol . It explores how light shapes space and form, how color influences perception, and how illuminated lettering conveys meaning. LIGHT DIALOGUES invites visitors to rediscover light art in its diverse forms of expression.
