Walk through the Deilbachtal

On Sunday, September 17.9.2023th, 11, at XNUMX a.m., the Ruhr Museum invites you to take a walk through the early industrial cultural and natural landscape of Deilbachtal in Essen.

On the hike, the natural and cultural monuments of the Deilbachtal are visited on site and their history as a unique early industrial landscape is explained. In a rare unity, the monuments document the beginnings and the high point of industrial history in Essen.

The Deilbach, which rises from the Bergisches Land near Wuppertal, meanders over a distance of around 20 kilometers to Essen. It flows through the town of Velbert and finally flows into Lake Baldeneysee in Essen.

Sturdy shoes and weatherproof clothing are required.
