Evening program under the globe

The popular lecture series under the floating installation in the Gasometer Oberhausen will be back with exciting guests from May 16th.

The fact that our earth is a fragile paradise has been shown in the exhibition of the same name in the Gasometer Oberhausen since 2022. In keeping with the visually stunning journey through the beauty and fragility of our planet, the Gasometer invites you to a series of lectures with five experts. They all deal with one of the greatest challenges facing our society: climate change.

Meteorologist and ARD weather presenter Karsten Schwanke will start on May 16, 2023. In his presentation, he will illustrate the already measurable effects and the consequences to be expected, accompanied by many exciting stories about the weather.

Other guests in the series are animal filmmaker and adventurer Andreas Kieling, science journalist and presenter Ranga Yogeshwar, author of the million-selling "The Secret Life of Trees" Peter Wohlleben and physician, author and presenter Prof. Dr. Eckhart von Hirschhausen.
