Photo workshop in the Lumgica light park!

On January 12, 2024 there will be a photo workshop with the fascinating focus on the currently ongoing light installation “LUMAGICA” in the Henrichshütte. The workshop, which lasts from 17:00 p.m. to 21:00 p.m., is aimed at participants with previous knowledge of photography. The Henrichshütte, a picturesque industrial site in the Ruhr area, serves as the backdrop for this workshop, which presents the LUMAGICA installation for the third time.

The LUMAGICA light installations create an exciting contrast to the wintry industrial backdrop and offer numerous details that can be cleverly staged. The workshop begins with a theoretical introduction, followed by practical exploration tours of the site. At the end of the workshop, each participant presents his/her series of images that show their individual perspective on the topic. This will then be presented in a final meeting. The aim of the workshop is to capture the magic of illumination.

Participants should bring their own digital camera with charged batteries, a tripod and remote shutter release, flashlight, flashlight, sturdy shoes and weatherproof clothing. Registration takes place via a link provided.
