Open Monument Day
On September 10th, the Day of the Open Monument will take place again 2023. The motto of the action day is "Talent Monument". Over 5.000 monuments nationwide are involved in the program. On this special day there will be special activities at many anchor points on the Industrial Culture Route, such as the Hattinger Hut Run at the Henrichshütte Hattingen, the World Heritage Run at the Zollverein Coal Mine or a family day at the Zollern Coal Mine in Dortmund. In addition, many smaller locations also provide insights into the industrial past.
