Open inspection in the Light Art Museum

On October 1st you can visit the unique collection of the Center for International Light Art Unna again in an open tour. On this day, the museum in the cellar vaults of the Linden Brewery can be explored without a guide and the impressive light installations can be viewed at your own pace. The expert art education staff is available to answer any questions anywhere in the museum.

The light art center is integrated into the premises of the Linden brewery, which was closed down in 1979. The radiant works of art can be seen deep underground on an area totaling 2.600 square meters. Many of the light installations were created specifically for the rooms and are technically and aesthetically tailored to this special location.

Visiting the Light Art Museum is usually only possible in the form of a guided tour; in addition to the regular tour of the collection, there are also family tours, photo tours and a combination ticket with the current exhibition in the museum House Opherdicke offered.
