touch the light
From June 16th to September 17th, expansive laser works by Margareta Hesse can be experienced at the Center for International Light Art in Unna!
The artist, who lives in Berlin, has been developing multidimensional installations made of red laser light since 2008. With the exhibition "Touch the Light" she transformed the dark cellar vaults of the Linden Brewery Unna into an overwhelming world of experience from their light sculptures. A fine mist makes the network of static and moving luminous light barriers visible. In this way you can enter the three-dimensional works of art and experience them directly.
The Center for International Light Art in Unna is unique. No other museum in the world is dedicated exclusively to this independent, avant-garde art genre. The museum can be visited as part of various guided tour formats or as part of an "open tour" once a month, the next date is July 2, 2023.
